Řevnice - Kostel sv. Mořice

Die Kirche St. Mauritius in Rewnitz an der Beraun (Řevnice) ist 1253 erstmals erwähnt worden, als sie durch den böhmischen König Wenzel I. den Kreuzherren vom Roten Stern überlassen wurde. Die sich neben der Kirche entwickelnde Siedlung dürfte kurz danach - während der Regierungszeit Ottokar II. Přemysl - Stadtrechte erhalten haben. Die Zwergstadt verfügte mit der romanischen St. Mauritiuskirche und der gotischen Kirche der Jungfrau Maria über zwei Gotteshäuser. Beide wurden allerdings abgebrochen und 1749-53 durch das barocke Bauwerk der heutigen Kirche St. Mauritius ersetzt.
